What are signs of egg laying in call ducks?

there will be feathers everywhere.
but they only molt for a short time.
so if this duck has not laid yet this year it is either too old, too young, or has a medical problem

thats not going to completly stop her from laying.
it may cause her to lay soft eggs. or infertile ones.
but it wont totaly stop mother nature

I hope she's not really old.She acts really young. Hopefully she'll lay an egg soon. Maybe she's one of those that don't end up laying eggs. Or maybe they eat their own eggs. Who knows?!?!

Unfortunately, buying them at an auction at a cheap price tends to get you what you pay for. You may never see an egg ever from her. Enjoy having them and don't expect anything more than enjoyment. Without taking her to a vet to be checked out you won't really know, even being checked out you may not get an answer.

I think my black east indie drake is molting now because lots of feathers came out when he flapped his wings. The call duck might be molting now, too,because there's been a pretty good amount of her feathers around.
