What are signs of egg laying in call ducks?

Do/will any call ducks lay in the summer? I didn't know about that diet thing. Everyone around here feeds them scratch and layer! Now I'm feeding them flock raiser and layer.

calls are seasonal and only lay in the spring.
this time of the year MOST hens has stopped laying for the year and are well into their molt.

if the duck is fully featheres there is no way to guess age.
it would be like looking at a picture of a full grown cat and guessin the age

there will be feathers everywhere.
but they only molt for a short time.
so if this duck has not laid yet this year it is either too old, too young, or has a medical problem
