Spuds, Mr. Bojangles, and then there are the ones I use... I got king names for alot of them - George, Louis, Authur, Henry. I also am the product of a immagrant mother so I have Shnurri (something about a mustache), Bruno, Felix, Boots (who's sister's name is Puss), Mr. Grey, Max and Charlie.
I also had taken in a litter of kittens and found homes for them and the guy that took two named them "tater" and "chip". I always liked that.
I think it's always a mistake to attempt to name a pet before you've met him/her. That being said, one of my favorite cats was named Jiminy Kitten. Kinda silly, I know. But, you had to know the cat.
I agree, I won't name him until I get to know him. I am just getting some ideas. It took me 2 months to name my lab mix Sugar, but I was only 5 years old.
I have a beautiful Siamese boy named Simon...I wasn't expecting on keeping him for very long when I named him cause I thought we were gonna give him to the shelter. But when I found out I could keep him his name kinda stuck. You should name him Simon
Although it would be cool to have an orange cat named Garfield.
(love the name Bojangles by the way...best name eva!)
