What are some cute names for a male kitten? UPDATE! He's home!

Our orange boy's name is Sunny (or Sonny as in Sonny boy). He doesn't care how we spell it! We also have longer haired tabby boys named Rufus (the scientific spp name for a lynx) and Skittles.
The girls' names are Emma and Sophia (Sophie for short).
Have fun! I hope you're able to find the one you seek!

He's home! And he is the cutest little guy! No, he isn't orange, but he just has the sweetest personality. He is all white except for a gray patch on his head. He LOVES to cuddle, and will cry if you aren't petting him. I have never had a cat this sweet! I am totally in love.

He has a horrible case of fleas though, poor baby.

I brushed him with a flea comb, but they are definitely still there. He also has a lump on his right shoulder blade. The top of it is pink and scaly. I am thinking it is either from the Feline Leukemia shot or Ringworm.

I also noticed the other cats in the shelter were sneezing and had eye boogers. Now he is sneezing a little and has a little yellow eye goop.

Luckily he is going to the vet tomorrow.

I am just confused about all of the shots. I got a cat book before we got him and it said vaccinations are known to cause cancer and other problems?! It also said booster shots are pointless and harmful. I have never had any problems with vaccinating my other cats and dogs. I just really need that cleared up. He was supposed to stay in my little sisters bedroom today, so he can rest and prevent spreading disease. Well, my sister let him out after about 3 hours, so I am REALLY hoping he doesn't get my pets sick!

Oh yeah, and we have had him for about 7 hours now, and he hasn't peed or pooped yet. He also sleeps in his litter box. He hasn't had any accidents yet, so I hope he is just adjusting to his knew home.

And finally, his name!

We decided he was a Casper, since he is white and so friendly. I will hopefully post pics tomorrow when we get back from the vet. Thanks everyone for all of the great name suggestions!

Thanks Mrs. Fluffy Puffy!

I was just putting him to sleep and there was a white worm on his butt!

Wow, this cat sure has a lot of problems, but hopefully he will be all better soon!

that sounds like a really nasty shelter... i know that they are all stretched thin but those cats need some medical attention. sheesh. glad you got Casper out!

personally, we don't do most vaccines- we try to be as holistic as we can. our farm vet always tells me that he doesn't vaccinate his cats either and he's one of the best vets i've ever met. it really depends on your living situation and your beliefs. we DO maintain up-to-date rabies shots because the cats could be taken away otherwise (not likely, but it's a good precaution). outside cats get feline leukemia shots, inside cats don't (the two don't ever meet). and that's about it.

I know! We have always gotten our cats from a different shelter with more cats. They all had worms, but if one had an Upper Respiratory Infection they would euthanize all of the cats.

I think they should just treat the cats, but at least diseases don't get spread. When we were looking at him, I noticed he kept on sticking his head in his bowl, and he didn't have any water! Poor kitty, he must have drank for like 5 minutes strait after that, I wonder how long he went without water. All well, at least he is happy now, and will be parasite-free soon.
