I have two brown leghorns and they are small bodied. They have started laying for the last 3 months but the eggs are pullet eggs and remain small. I think it is just the standard for this type of hen. Later the eggs will increase in size, I am told. So I patiently wait. Mine will talk back to me if I try to engage them. One esp. is chatty. They are pretty little things . I do worry about their combs with this cold we are having here. It was 12 here this morning again. Gloria Jean
