What are the 3 spots on my turkeys neck?

My BBB are about 5 weeks and some have developed 3 round bald spots on their neck. Someone please educate the dummy

but don't they gradually lose all of the feathers from their head and neck as they mature?

They should lose most of their head feathers/down by about 6 weeks, so your bald spots may be the beginning of balding.

If I can figure out how to post photos. I will. The spots are too symitrical to be the gradual balding plus they are so low on the neck that I'm wondering if its a start of neck waddles or something, hoping it will tell me how many toms I have

Note the small round bump toward the base of the neck. There is a matching one on the opposite side and one centered toward the front
