...if I out day old chicks with a cochin hen that she will adopt them? I'm about to hatch some chicks and would like to integrate them with my flock right away. I have two hens that hatched my EE eggs and the chicks are well protected among the bully girls. What say ye?

A cochin adopting chicks? I'd say pretty high. My understanding is they will mother darn near anything.
