After the emails the seller and I exchanged I wouldn't do business with them either.

So how did they answer when you asked them how they manually check fertility in each egg???? It's bothering me so I have to know!!!

I just got a reply that included that the seller was 85 years old and gets confused easily. It's good to be skeptical of Ebay auctions sometimes, but be nice people.

maybe he needs his wife to proof read for him or his kids to look it up before "submit" button is pushed. I can understand older folks are not computer savvy but if you are selling something on Ebay, it's best to either take some lessons, ask around or have his kids or grandkids to help him out.

For no reasons explained about using those photographs of the UK birds, then something still isn't right. If he would have said I do not have any photographs available of these birds, please see the picture as an example of the Lemon Cuckoo Orpingtons you will receive and do mention that they were from Greenfire Farms so people can either call Paul to verify if this Ebay seller DID buy his stock or eggs from him. Better than sorry doing some bit of investigation.

I guess some of us can make exceptions but with the feedbacks, you would have to contact all those folks that bought his Cuckoo Orpington hatching eggs and see what their feedback is now after the chicks hatched and grown up, did they have the pattern, did they hatch at all, etc.

That might be true but someone mentioned that his computer crashed. So that is going to take a bit of time to take photos out of the memory or he would have to take pictures of his birds all over again.

Once again, we find evidence of Greenfire seriously gouging/overpricing birds you can get in other places for a lot less.

Even if their birds are "show quality", then instead of being worth $25, they should be worth $100... not $400/pair. THAT is price gouging & they can package it on a nice "farmey" looking website however they want. It doesn't change what it is.

I am following that thread with interest. All the different reactions to it have been really funny.​
