Hi! I was given these hens a year and a half ago. They are about 2 years old. Does anyone know what they are? The black one is next to her silkie boyfriend, so you have some size reference. They are basically bantam sized. They lay a cream colored egg a little bigger that silkie eggs. The black girl lays an almost white egg. Her tail fans up the same way as the other girl. I call them fantails. When I tried looking them up, closest I got was something like a black fantail old english game hen, lol! Any guesses? Or maybe they're blended? The black one eventually got some tiny white spots around her head. And these 2 ladies pack a wolup! They are some tough ladies! They're bossy with all my easter egger girls who are bigger than them, but sweet with humans.

They definitely look like mixed! The first looks like it has a bit of Sebright in it because of the tail, but the latter looks more gamefowl. They are both beautiful! 😍

Interesting! Ya, I had a hard time finding a similar picture online for them.
We love them! They have a lot of personality! 😊
