What are these chickens ?

My parents got these Birds last year from a woman who's husband had passed away and she didn't know nothing about them.

The Rooster looks like my Sex-link rooster which is a Delaware/RIR cross. It could be that they are a barnyard mix.

They are pretty though I love the splashing of color on them.

Hopefully someone more knowledgable about breed with chime in.

What color eggs? I'm no expert, but some brand of legbar popped into my head.

I think they lay a tan colored egg.

Well, to me they look like a barred Rock cross (with what? no clue) but that may just be because I have some....

OR Delaware cross...Either way, very pretty, and healthy-looking too.

They look like Barred Rock/Buff Orpingtons possibly. The pattern is crele, they don't live on the bayou

Their nice birds. I really like the short comb's. They'd make great cold weather duel purpose birds from the looks of them. They look like their up in age. (Judging by the roo's legs) You might want to try hatching some of their eggs. They'll probably produce good layers, that are resilient to most diseases. Congrats on finding that flock.
