So so adorable! So, Pekins are okay to mate a female Runner?

His mom was a pekin and dad was a runner. But they should be ok but keep watch on them. Having them mate in a kiddie pool is better to take some of the weight off. Its not ideal but if you keep an eye on them it should be ok.

Will do! They have the pond where the two adult Pekins have made their lovemaking! It makes sense that that is a safer place! Thank you!

What is your opinion on when we can let the babies out with the two adults. They are 8 weeks old now. I think of the four we have 2 females ( the Pekin and the Pekin/Runner mix) and two drakes (the fawn and white runners).
