I agree with that statement, we have cupboards of dishes. Did you realize that a lot of the "depression ware" dishes were found in Rolled Oats, Laundry Soap and also given away at the movies. Basically it was something to raise the moral of the war time and depression. My mom tells about these surprises when you opened the box or went to a movie.
