Don't feel bad. I have a number of chick pictures on a few recent posts that no one can identify yet.

It may be that we need more time before the seasons experts can tell us what our little cuties are.

Of course, by that time, we may be able to figure it out ourselves!

I dont think so they have patterns that a sex link dosent but IDK

The patterns that they have now are still baby feathers. They will likely change when they get older. Thats what makes it hard to tell what they are.

Why don't you call the store you bought them at and ask them where they get their chicks from, specifically the ones they were selling when you bought yours. That might help you narrow it down some. *goes off in search of more info. on what your chicks might be*

I am going to venture a guess and say they are a sex-link of some sort. Going by the thought that most farm stores are going to carry the breeds of chickens most people are interested in - namely, solid layers. Not only that, but many times chicks vary in pattern and appearance. All my red sex-links don't look exactly alike, and I do have one that is similar in appearance to yours. Hope this helps!

I got it from TSC who gets theirs from Mt healthy and i know that one of those is a boy and one is a girl are there any breed that determines sex by two stripes on the back like the one i have

I had a few EE's that has that same feather pattern. CUTE chicks! I see single combs on them so that ruled out EE's out!

So narrowed down to single combed pattern......
