I'm not sure which antibiotics your local store has. There are several you can add to the water or you can feed the Jungle anti-bacterial food. Anti-bacterial foods usually work well on fish with good appetites, which goldfish usually have. Online, the favored anti-bacterial food you can order for goldfish is Medigold. I think the Jungle Cure tablets work, too. They're marketed as a fungal cure, but they actually contain antibiotic to treat bacterial infections, since there's a bacterial infection that looks like a fungus to people. I don't know which of the other antibiotics would work best for that particular problem. It's been a long time since I've used any.

Hopefully, a more balanced food with more nutrients in it will be enough to boost your fish's immune system and prevent a relapse. I'd still try to get the water parameters checked, including nitrate.
