What are these two girls?

Do you know if they came from a hatchery or breeder? I'm thinking barnyard mix.

From a breeder. They are likely barnyard mix but was curious as to what they are a mix of?

Both of your hens appear to be barnyard mixes. The first one might have some sort of gamebird or Welsummer in her background. The second one probably has a Silver Penciled "something" in her background--maybe a Silver Penciled Rock or Wyandotte. It looks like they've been mixed for more than one generation, though, so it is hard to tell what went into them.

Regardless of their breed/mix, both hens are very pretty!

You have two pretty mixed breeds. The first I would guess is a game bird or Cubalaya mix, or possibly a Production Red mix. The second looks like a Silver Laced Wyandotte or Silver Penciled Rock mix. However, its hard to tell exactly what breeds have gone into them.

I sure wouldn't kick that second bird out of my coop, she's beautiful! One reason barnyard mix is my favorite breed
