Okay, so does anyone know what varieties are available in the US. I have seen people selling BTW, BTB, black, white, grey, mottled, blue, wheaten, barred, brown red...

Has anyone seen lemon blue in the US??

I have never bred chickens, but I have a blue Japanese trio and a black pullet. I love the breed and would like to try breeding them. I have seen lots of pictures of lemon blue but do not know if they are available in the US. I was thinking that lemon blue might be a good project.

I was talking to a friend about breeding Lemon Blue and apparently it is pretty complicated and you need several pens to do it but if you are up for it then do it, it is a very pretty color. If you are even thinking about breeding Japanese then I strongly urge you to join the Club. The connections made by joining a club are priceless.
