I haven't done it over the years,,,,yet,,,,,,but there are recipes for insecticide using naptha soap. I read years ago it works pretty darn well. Why not?

There are so many pictures on the internet, and I just didn't want to go through them all, but these things look like 2 things I saw. Lice eggs, and small ant eggs.

No, but the information I thought might be useful if the OP can figure out a way to identify them as soil mites. If that's what they are it doesn't sound as if they are harmful.

IMO pics are needed for positive insect ID.
Agree tho, they are not harmful to the poultry.

I think they may be soil mites! I had left some partially composted material in the little setup for a few months and then I added the pigeons and later noticed the bugs so I replaced the organic matter with soil.
