Nah I think that Jersey Giant is a pullet - And MAN can it stand upright!!

When my Black Coppers were that age, the pullets were the ones who'd stand like that and had combs that size.

As for the EE - Yeah looks like a normal EE. Also a pullet.

The BJG chick is a hen? For real?????
I'm so happy Chickadee is a hen. She's my baby!!!! ( Her mother is a Blue EE hen, she hatched from her egg. Thats probably why she's so friendly. ) She is so sweet!

chicks. . . One of my Araucanas made the biggest deal today about a strip of newspaper. He was 5 weeks old and still thought it was a worm. . . . And so did everyone else.

I fed them some scrambled eggs this afternoon, it wasn't the first time they'd had it but they gobbled it up! LOL Whats a good name for the the Blue Jersey Giant???

Babe, as in Babe the big blue Ox.

Pretty soon I'll be in the same rut as you. I have 8 BBS Jersey Giants waiting for names, but they have yet to even feather out entirely yet. They're just week old chicks.

Here is the other chick that I couldn't post a picture of before.
This is "Amber"
Hatched from a green egg. Has green feet, and a "Pea" comb.

( Breed & Gender ...? )
( Depending on it's gender he/she may need another name. Name suggestions welcome!!! )
