What are you addicted to as of right now?

Chocolate! Lovely, rich, approximately 70-80% dark chocolate . . . .yum. Totally addicted. Cannot say no! Luckily the good stuff is so good I can only eat about a 1"x1" piece and then I'm done. Otherwise it would be a lot harder to lose weight (which I'm currently attempting!).

Oh, I'm also addicted to my husband, he's a friend, partner, lover, companion . . . love of my life, and I have no idea how I ever managed to live without him.

And now that I think about it, I'm addicted to my dogs too. They're like my happy drug -- they make me laugh and can always lift my mood. I've got two black Standard Poodles and they're the best, even if one of them is Destructo-Pup. I'm addicted to them, I dunno what I'll do when they finally cross over the Bridge, luckily, that won't be for a while (at least, I hope not!). One of them is having a birthday in a couple weeks, on Mother's Day, she'll be 3.

Finally, I am addicted to my best friends. Can't live without them. There's a group of about 5-6 of us (7, including my hubby) and we have been friends for about 15 years. My bestest friend, though, we met in 1992 and we're still 'together', as it were. She's part of that group. We are all addicted to each other, I swear, we get withdrawal if we don't have regular contact! I've known my best friend for literally half my life, we often act and react as one person, we're totally addicted to each other.

Am and have been hopelessly addicted to all things horsey, but especially horse-tack. This includes everything from bridles and saddles to nifty gadgets like bridle bags, hay bags, clippers and other neat grooming tools. I especially love the blankets(the kind for your horse to wear when its really cold.) Last year I got one that was SO comfy, I wrapped up in it myself for a few days bfore I had to surrender it to the horse. I LOVE the smell and feel of leather and I positively drool all over the various catalogues we get in the mail. Its like horse-tack porn for me, LOL! Luckily for my husband as welas our budget, I do a lot more looking than actual buying. I keep telling him to appreciate the fact that I am low-maintenance. How many women would so easily be won over on their birthday with a hot pink saddle pad? Plus if you really want to go all out and spend thousands, I would way rather have a nice used horse-trailer than any diamond ring or bracelet!
