What are you baking now?

Oooooh, I love honey on muffins!

Made cinnamon rolls yesterday, for the first time, using gumps bread recipe. You all are right, this is a super easy bread recipe! The rolls were not as soft as the cinnamon rolls are that I am used to but my family and friends say the extra chew is a huge plus! I didn't change the bread recipe at all (just added butter, cinnamon and sugar after rolling flat and then rolled up and sliced before final rise) but to make up for a less sweet bread I made cream cheese frosting and added tangerine zest and juice to the frosting so that I didn't have to use as much sugar.
OMG they were good! Tried to get a picture today but DH was eating the last one when I finally got around to it. There were 18 rolls!!! We did have help though, had friends over for dinner last night and they went wild for them!

Oh! I was asking for a great brownie recipe much earlier in this thread. I love a brownie that is a little chewy (not too cakey but not tough) and not too oily (last recipe I tried tasted great but was very oily). Please, please, please may I have the recipe?

My DH would love this! He is a total chocaholic.

This reminds me of a dessert pizza I make with precooked pizza dough. I use a layer of lemon curd as the sauce then layer with fresh fruit (my favorite is a blueberry and kiwi combo but I've also used strawberries, blackberries, and mangos as well). Top with drizzled sweetened sour cream (I use agave nectar to sweeten the sour cream but honey or powdered sugar will work too) and garnish with lemon or tangerine zest. I'm going to make this with gumps bread the next time. The texture of this bread is perfect for a dessert pizza!

Darn....hate when that happens! They look delicious though.

I made baugettes in both whole wheat and white for our CSA share boxes (about 40) last week. This week, the CSA members were back to the farmers market for their share boxes and wiped out my breads on the regular booth table. Oh my, I've created a monster! LOL

I love looking at this thread and finally decided to contribute..with a picture even...because I'm quite impressed with this pie I baked yesterday.

I was too lazy to make my own pie crust so I bought a frozen one that is surprisingly good.

1 Unbaked, deep dish pie crust
2 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) softened butter
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips (I maaaay have used a little more)
1 cup chopped nuts (I didn't use any)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Beat eggs with a mixer on high until foamy.
Add flour, sugar, brown sugar and butter.
Stir in morsels and nuts.
Spoon into the unbaked pie shell.
Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a knife placed halfway between the center and edge is mostly clean.
