What are you baking now?

I made these a couple days ago, some raspberry and some blueberry. I don't like fruit so I didn't eat any, but everyone else said they were good. Sorry, no pictures, I forgot about em.

I just pulled a couple loaves of Gump bread outta the oven...I am very much hoping they turn out as good as they look and smell. It was my first time making any bread from scratch that is not a quick bread. Pictures will follow in 10 minutes or so...according to the stupidest line in the directions I am to wait at least 10 minutes before cutting.

cmb19 - great looking bread!

Was all set to make bread yesterday and then realized that I didn't have ANY bread flour!! I thought I had a partial bag sitting in the pantry and it was Whole Wheat and I needed regular. I thought about making with all purpose and whole wheat flours but decided I'd wait to get Bread flour today after work.

Not much baking this weekend still working on my new art studio, got the taping and most of texturing done - ran out of "mud" so I need one more box

. I'm excited to get further along with it - but it has really put a kink in my baking and canning schedule.

I have Santa Rosa plums coming on in full force (we've been around 100 in the last day or two... hot hot hot). Any ideas on what to do!

I'd love to make jam, but I'm somewhat inept... any recipes for that would be great too!

I get bread bags (food storage bags) at my local Lowe's Foods store - 75 bags for $1 plus, used to be Hy-top brand, now the brand is Presto. They come with twist ties and are the right size for loaves baked in loaf pans. The Gump's baguette was a little large last time, but I managed to squeeze it in.

Here is a link to bags in a roll. The size I buy is about 10" x 15".

Last night I baked a recipe of Hawaiian Banana Bread - has pineapple, bananas, nuts, vanilla - so good! My favorite recipe for banana bread. Made 8 mini loaf pans and freezes well.

Hi I pm'd you the link to the recipe. Its not mine but it is awesome and super easy because you use bisquick. The only thing I did differently was to add 2 tsp of cinnamon to the peach filling mix. Then I added 1 tsp of vanilla to the lemon sauce. I will post the link here in case someone else wants it

Beat the robins out of my juneberry bushes long enough to pick enough juneberries for a cobbler tonight. Juneberry cobbler beats blueberry cobbler hands down.. yummy!
