BIG baking day today! So far I've made 2 pumpkin rolls and 1 rum cake. I still have to make a cheesecake. I'm short 2 eggs but 3 girls are in the nest box right now, so I'm on a coffee break

My 21 year old niece is making pies (her first time) so I'm sure we'll have more than enough for tomorrow. I like when everyone can take some home with them

I also made a couple of pounds of homemade cheese ravioli yesterday and used up too many eggs - duh!

I decided to try my hand at baking homemade pumpkin and pecan pies....... well the crust is not homemade

Today my daughter wanted to help soooooo I let her make the pies!
Pumpkin pie is baking right now and shes working on the pecan. Post pics. later

I made a Dutch Apple w/Rhubarb pie last night. It's gone... pastery doesn't last but a couple hours in our house. The rhubarb made the color nice along with a tart zing to it.
