What are you baking now?

Most recently I've been baking Brandied Fruitcakes and various pies and breads for farmers market sales and holiday orders. Afew more to bake tomorrow and I'll be finished until after New Years. I think on Christmas Eve I'll make one batch of DH's favorite cookies. I'll let him choose which it'll be.

My Hubby loves to help in the kitchen. He like to clean mostly and sometimes will put stuff away that I just got out to start baking with!

When we first got married I thought I was losing my mind. I'd turn around from getting more stuff down out of a cabinet and the items I knew I had just set out would be gone! I caught him after a while though and he is trying hard to break that habit (It's been 12 years and he still will wash a spoon or bowl I'm using.

He swears it's not on purpose but he only does this when my back is turned.

Oh I love to cook. Now that I am a 8 to 5 nurse I have more time. This week homemade fudge 3 flavors, all kinds of cookies, and of coarse the Sunday meal of fried chicken and homemade brea and pecan pie. Welcome new recipes.

I have had a couple of women say "if you ever get tired of him...", I always reply "No way! He does dishes. I'm never letting him get away!"

In fact he yells at me if I try to help. I had spinal fusion surgery a few years back and he is awfully protective.

Michickenwrangler did I read that right? You are already done? I am sooo jealous!

Yup. Cookies are in the freezer.

The hard part now is keeping DH and DD from snitching at them. She's off school but I still have to work today.

Anyone know how to hook up an electric fence charger to a freezer?
