Thanks for the links! I don't know about the mayo recipe though. He/She says that you can't make mayo in a blender, and having watched my mom making it in a blender all the time I was growing up, I can't help but wonder about that. The food chemistry about is spot on, though. Can't wait to try the biscuits!
And, thanks do the mayo page, I'm throwing my hand mixer as far as I can throw it. The only thing it does well is mix paint and it's a PITA otherwise with it's cord getting all in the way and only accepting one particular type of beaters.
