Here ya go Aspen:

Buckeyes (chocolate peanut butter balls) - These are requested every year by my family.

1 lb powdered sugar
1 cup peanut butter (smooth)
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
2 sticks melted butter

Mix ingredients together and roll into balls. Dip balls into melted milk chocolate and cool until hard on waxed paper.

Candy bar fudge - this will satisfy the sweet and salty, it's delicious and super easy.

1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup baking cocoa
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup milk
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
30 caramels, unwrapped (I make my own caramel)
1 TBS water
2 cups salted peanuts
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

In a microwave safe bowl, combine the butter, cocoa, brown sugar and milk. Microwave on high until mixture boils, about 3 minutes. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla. Pour into a greased 8 inch square pan. In another microwave bowl, heat caramels and water on high for 2 minutes or until melted. Stir in peanuts; spread over chocolate layer. Microwave chocolate chips on high for 1 minute (in another bowl) or until melted; spread over caramel layer. Chill until firm.

That doesn't include all the desserts I need to make too - Candy cane cake for DS birthday tomorrow (it's an angel food cake with whipped cream frosting and crushed candy canes on top) and pies/cheesecakes for 3 different family get togethers.

Good to know.

I believe this recipe I have though puts the indents in (and jam) prior to baking. I've never made these cookies before, but my triple berry jam came out so good I thought they'd be great with these cookies. And they are cream cheese based, I love cream cheese.

Plus, I gotta do some different stuff - can't always be the same cookies.

Today I've made Fruit & Nut bread using the Amish Friendship Bread starter, Banana Banana and Nut bread, and a broccoli quiche for lunch/dinner. Now I think it's time for a nap!
