What are you baking now?

I almost forgot... I should be plugging the BYC Cookbook! One of my biscotti recipes is in there! I should be suggesting you buy that... oh yes... buy the BYC cookbook!!!

OZARK HEN: I just made your biscotti recipe with walnuts and craisins. THANK YOU for such a terrific recipe! I love it. I am going to make 6 more this weekend and can't wait to try an almond/chocolate biscotti. It's delicious and will be in all my gift baskets!

I'm so thankful for all the pictures you've posted, helped me alot. It's alittle sticky when forming the loaf, but floured hands helped alot. Here's a picture of them before going back in the oven for their second 15 minute bake - YUMMMM.... I was eating it already!

You know I could have made that recipe easier LOL I cream my sugar, eggs and butter, then add flavorings and then the baking soda and flour, then fold in what ever I am adding. I forgot to add, I wet my hands when forming the loaves. My loaves aren't as tall so the baking doesn't take as long. I love them!!! I need to make more just for family now. LOL So glad you enjoy them. I think they are absolutely delicious with or without coffee or tea. Yours look wonderful!!

well I just baked my goodies for the December Sweet Swap!!

I made 4 more of Ozark Hen's biscotti. Almond/Chocolate and Crasin/Walnut. I really like the craisin one the best!

I was baking all morning so for lunch I baked some meatballs for meatball heros. I found this recipe http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Meatball-Sandwich/Detail.aspx and it was great! I used 2 eggs and added some chopped onions to the meatballs and we loved them. Who would have thought you can bake meatballs? I always cooked them in sauce for a couple of hours but since the oven was going all morning.... Also the weather isn't too nice today and it's cold so it was a perfect day for baking!

I baked fruitcakes and strawberry Amish friendship cakes yesterday. We were supposed to go to visit DH's family today, but are snowed in. Guess I'll bake and wrap gifts instead.
