What are you baking now?

I'll be making sticky buns and DD will probably be baking peanut butter cookies. Had planned on making Betty Ford's Blue Bana bread also but it may be too much of a good thing.

Mmmmm sticky buns sound soooo good!

My sticky buns are in the oven! How neat to use an egg that was like 20 minutes "old"! I just love doin that!

Ozark Hen - I love potato soup! (No one else here does, tho

) I have so many memories of my mom making that when there was snow on the ground. I'd eat that yummy soup and be ready to brave the elements after dinner even when it was dark! I guess I could always make just a one serving bowl of it!

But since I didn't have that many potatoes I decided to make an Italian soup to load into the bowls @ supper time. I, too, love potato soup and I prefer it very thick and rich.

Yes, by all means, make a small pot for yourself. Be sure you have some left-overs for tomorrow!!

Made Cinnamon Swirl bread from my BYC Cookbook. Have a doctor appointment this morning so can't taste it yet - but can't wait.

I have never really baked breads before but have gotten into it more now that I can use my Kitchen Aide mixer to do the kneading.

Ozark Hen we don't have snow but still wish I had some of your soup bowls for the split pea soup that we had for dinner last night.

Check this index for a post titled "Sara...Sticky Bun Recipe...Mine are in the Oven". Looks like a good one and may be that will be my new recipe for bread/rolls this weekend.

By the way, we're not discussing the bread I forgot and left rising the other day. Well just gloss over that day in baking history. I baked biscuits and fried home made sausage and put them together and individually wrapped them. My husband just has to grab one or two on the way out the door to eat after his workout at the gym (he can't eat before workout).
