Thanks a million for the tip. I do and will try using my Crock Pot liner. There is a local flee market here that I was just told has a booth that sells antique cookware and usually has cast iron. So we are going to check them out tomorrow.
That site that you linked me to has a recipe for Pesto bread that I'm going to try this weekend. I have Basil coming out my ears right now and we love Pesto so will give it a try. Also going to try a Jalapeno/Cheese Dutch oven bread. Just taking the regular white dough recipe and adding the Jalapenos (pickled) and cheese. We'll see what we get.
I'm having such a great time with this bread baking!! I LOVE to cook, its so relaxing and I can escape the world just like when I do my art. Now I just need to win the Lotto so I can stay home and cook/bake and do art all the time.
The other joy for me is sharing of all our recipes and stories here - so much fun talking to others who love cooking/baking as much as I do.
Have a great weekend everyone
Sandee
You're welcome. There are sooooooo many recipes I want to try on that site! Unfortunately...or I should say
fortunately....we have customers who come to buy their standard loaves every week at market. So making those loaves takes up a lot of my baking time. I AM home all day - but between online orders, chickens, pigs, cattle, quail, market gardens, canning and housekeeping - well, I can't get enough baking time in either! *sigh*
How did you make out at the flee market? Any good finds?

ooOOOooooo, now that's a nice piece of cookware. I love good pans and good cooking gadgets!
