What are you baking now?

Today:
1 pecan pie. 1 batch of Cresent Rolls, and have the 2nd batch rising on the table to go into oven..

Yesterday:
Cheese Cake

Tomorrow:
Green Bean Casserole ( for 12 People)
Cornbread and Bread Dressing..

Then gotta load it all up and take to sister in laws !!! Fingers crossed the pie and the cheese cake make it there without any problems..

I've got to do the apple cake I did the other day and green bean casserole to bring to the family dinner this afternoon. An easy Thanksgiving baking day for me!

I made my cheesecake last night....I was in a very bad mood and overmixed the batter. I ended up with my first cracked cheesecake ever (it's a doozy of a crack) and I'm slightly annoyed about it. Oh well, I don't even like cheesecake and I know my family won't complain.

Last night I made 2 Pumpkin pies, and a Dutch apple, an orange jello dessert with cottage cheese, not sure what its called, been a family tradition for as long as I can remember, and my grandma's home made fruit fluff, most everything is from scratch, grown or raised here. Except the silly fruit cocktail, I ain't got enough fruit tree's to start making my own of that yet.
Today I'm doing the whole Thanksgiving feast, mashed potatoes, turkey, stuffing, gravy, yams, carrots, corn, biscuits, and my home made cranberry sauce is simmering right now.

Ahhhhhh, relaxation. My cranberry sauce came out fantastic, everyone loved it. I added Orange juice and Grand Marinier.

Lots of leftovers, so no cooking the rest of the weekend.

Wow - what a great idea!!! I would have never thought of it, but reading it just now makes my mouth water! Made pumpkin and pecan pies for the family gathering today - and will be making my own Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings for friends on Sunday. Power went out for several hours and we were thankful we'd just finished baking the turkey and heating up the garlic mashed potatoes and green bean casserole. We had to finish the gravy and heat up the rolls on the BBQ - gotta love living in Southern California

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
