What are you canning now?

I've been to Alaska visiting family. We picked wild high bush cranberries and they made cranberry ketchup and cranberry barbque sauce. Turned out to be very good. I brought home fresh picked raspberries frozen. Hubby loves them but they don't do well for me in the south.

I did manage to sit down and put in my lime jelly recipe, I had to take a break from the massive decrapping session that precedes a lengthy move. I'm sick of the sorting, about ready to just trash it all..... Have yard sale on Saturday.

I also tried the sriracha again today and while it looked great and perfect before I put it in the jars... it must not have been hydrated enough because it separated. Won't be a problem, just have to mix it up before consuming and possibly add some vinegar but still..... Did I mention that I finished off the rest of the watermelon juice? 9 more half pints and 10 more pints, hubby asked that it be a bit sweeter so I added another cup of sugar to each batch.

Ok, I made the strawberry jam with 1 cup less of strawberry and just mixed in 2 bananas.

I also got my scuppernog (bronze muscadine grapes) done....

so, 14 8oz jars finished and apple butter in the crockpot for the morning to can.

Off to the Fair in the morning too to drop off 9 jars I've entered into competition, and a batch of my biscotti

Wow... for real! I'm running out of things to can too.

Next week I get the last bushel of apples, and after that NADA!

I did just harvest 13 lbs of green tomatoes, I put them in a brown box and covered them in tissue paper. I was to see if any ripen if the don't start in a few days I'll pull the green ones and I wanna find something to make from them. Maybe a green tomato chutney? Recipe anyone?
