Well, while I am boiling my eggs, i make my pickling solution. I use vinegar, minced onion/garlic, cayenne pepper, pickling spice, dill seed, mustard seed, peppercorns. you can really just use a variety of spices. Bring it all to a boil and then turn it off and let it set for a few hours. I boil my jars and put just a few of those spices i listed in the bottom of the jars, add my eggs and then the pickling solution. Put the caps on the jars and place them in boiling water for about 15 min. Its best to let them set a week or two to let the flavors come together, but my daughter eats them the next day.
