Been thinking about trying my hand at making a flute. I have almost every CD by Nakai, never have seen him in person, though...but do love his playing.None of those in that pix are my production.
I made a few and gave them away to aspiring young friends. One of them was the person that accompanied myself and DS to the Carlos Nakai concert. Have a couple in the unfinished stage presently.
I play those pictured.
Use certain flutes for certain occasions , as they have certain sentimental ties.
I played at Wedding Vow Ceremonies for my DD and DS.
Also played Amazing Grace for long gone relatives at their resting place.
I often play in solitude for personal recharge.
ETA.. I actually looked again at which pix I posted, (easily found). The very top flute in that stand is one I made.![]()
