We just got to the station after 30 hours, 6 flying, the rest endlessly turning down worse roads. I had forgotten just how huge this place was. To honour our arrival the 4 vaqueiros Marina summoned to take me away the day we met were there, dressed like penguins.

The whole town lined the streets. I feel very small.

Day after tomorrow we lay her to rest next to her mother.

It is a melody I play on my flute annually for a departed Friend. (at an annual gathering)
I will play it in Marinas Memory Day after tomorrow in solitude. She will hear it.
