Yep! I am almost always listening to music when I am on BYC! I listen to Hebrew music every single day and I love it!
Here are links to a several of my favorite songs. Go ahead and check them out, you'll find that they are actually really great songs! A lot of them are praising God or Psalms right out of the bible! Some of them also have translations so you can understand what they are saying!

P.S. Anybody out there speak Hebrew?!

I really like Yerushalayim Shel Zahav by Ofra Haza but the other 2 I haven't even heard of.
Do you listen to Hebrew music and do you speak Hebrew?

Except I hardly ever knew what they were saying. My grandfather had the training and voice to be a cantor - one who sings the prayers but, ended up working on engines in the steel mills.

My grandmother came to this country for an "arranged " marriage but, met my grandpa and married him instead. She had a mind of her own, and I like to think I have some of her other great qualities as well.

I do not speaks Hebrew, but that does not stop me from listening to music. I listen to music from around the globe. If you scan this and some of the other music threads that I post to, you will find Music from 6 Continents. I still cant seem to find anything from ANTARCTICA.

Thank you! Do you by chance happen to know what they are saying? Have you found the lyrics in English? I know some Hebrew but not all of it.

I bet you will never find any music from Antarctica! Haha!
