What are you planning to do for April fools?

Just wanted to see what others might have up their sleeves for April fools to give me some ideas! I love the day and I'm known for getting all my friends.

My one room mate and I went and bought some food coloring. Our other room mate buys lactaid cartons and we plan to put some green food coloring into it when she is not around. She'll have no idea that anything is different until she drinks it! knowing her, she'll drink it anyways but I'm sure her shock will be worth it!

What is everyone else planning?

Here's a harmless but really funny trick.....tape down the trigger on your water sprayer in the kitchen....aim it strategically, and when the victum turns on the water......SQUIRT!

Oh it's funny to watch! Did it to my stepdaugher.....she was mad because I asked her to wash dishes.......LOL

I have never been one for practical jokes really. Not because I don't like them but just because I could never come up with anything. Last year though I decided to play one on my husband at the last minute. I moved his truck around the block and broke a glass panel from an old picture frame to look like someone had broken his window and stolen his truck. I woke him up asking if he had moved it for some reason and that I had gone out to my van and seen that the truck wasn't there. He leaped out of bed and went flying outside. I managed to keep it up until he looked like he was going to cry (I started to feel bad) and then I told him where it was. It was totally worth it! He thought it was hilarious that I had actually pulled one over on him. I'm sure he's going to pay me back this year. I am thinking of taping a fake mouse on some fishing line to the inside of one of the kitchen cabinets so that when he opens it, it will fly out at him.

Crap, I have to work that day...and I answer phones. I know where hubby sleeps though, so he knows better than to pull anything on me. And I may refuse to cook if any of our other family members trys anything. That would hit them below the belt.

April 1 is the anniversary of my DH moving here. It's his joke on everyone, and I haven't been able to top it.

Take off the little screeny thing on your faucet, stick a blue egg-coloring tablet in there and replace. When one of the kids comes screaming to you, telling you that the water is blue, ask them "What? Isn't all water blue?"

Ack! Thats coming up!! I generally dont think about it until my kids pull a joke. Maybe I WILL have to do something this year...reverse the tables.

My mom is a great one for April fools, in the past she has turned a cake pan upside down and iced it for us or the classic food colored water in the pitcher in the fridge.
