I will plant eggplant this evening after work. Yesterday after work, I planted cucumbers. I still have winter veggies in my garden and we are trying to eat them up, so I can plant for spring. The hens luuuuvv the broccoli blooms!!

We are going to till our garden spot this weekend. I have some cool weather crops to plant and I'm gonna cut my tater seeds up tonight so I can stick them in the ground when we get finished tilling.

well...no planting yet, but after a trip to the vet for one of my pups, and a trip in the opposite direction to pick up chicks at the post office I started some more seeds inside, worked on building a border fence around the garden, put a border up around my perennials (asparagus, strawberries and rhubarb). Laid out my spacing for my raspberry row supports, moved some compost, trimmed back some hedges, and whatever else i can get done after this dinner break and before it gets dark.
Hopefully tomorrow or over the weekend sometime I'll be able to get the raspberries transplanted and a few early season crops planted in the raised beds that are ready to go.

The land owner planted onions and leeks. Onions anyway.

I gathered lots of comfrey, wild amaranth, wild lettuce for his chickens and mine. And put a new layer of litter in the bottom of my gals' house.
