What are you READING?

Yes great book! haven't read that in a long time. I have all his dog stories, and his last book that was published before he died. Called every living thing. I should pick it up and reread it again. That book always makes me cry.

Thanks for the mention! 'Chickens' is doing really well in the UK and Spain, and I'm so delighted how many from the USA have read it already.

I totally agree with Cats Critters, Chinbunny and others about the James Herriot books. I love them, and it was All Creatures Great and Small that inspired 'Chickens'.

I usually cycle between these books, depending on my mood:

Lord of the Rings series, including The Hobbit.

Raising the Hunley

Treasure Island

Eye of the Storm
, a Civil War journal

Various books from the Politically Incorrect Guide series

The Really Inconvenient Truths

And those are just the ones I regularly read!

Just finished Up From Slavery and The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass.

EDIT

The reason I listed all these is because I'm bound to start one of them tonight.

How many of you have read through the Redwall series, by Brian Jaques?
They are the best.
If you like Watership Down, you will love the Redwall series.

I added it to my wish list. I may buy it in the future. I saw one about warrior cats at kmart tonight that looked interesting. Also looking in to writing and self publishing a fictional story of my own about animals.

I forgot to add that I am also reading City Chicks, I am getting ready to get a flock (although not legal where I am at).
