I like the blanket...I put a big liquor box in the brooder so they have compartments to go into..like were the bottles are separated.. they have a ramp to on the top row...they really like it. My chicks are so content they chirp much at all until I go in ...they are 6 days old now and I give them about a table spoon of meal worms spread around and they find them they are just going nuts to get one...jeff

Lol! I love when they find on and take off running and the others run after them like "SHARE!!" hahaha I had to remove the blanket cause i was afraid they would get hurt or loose around the garage. But Im adding a low roost in there tonight for them to hang out on. Sounds like your set up is a fun one for your birds! Mine are SO quiet too. No one even knows we have them in the garage here cause you don't hear or smell anything. lol The only time they go bonkers is if they hear me say hello. lol

Metzer emailed and said my ducklings have shipped and should arrive tomorrow and offered no tracking...Ideal is that way to but chicks from Ideal arrive next day and dont take 2 days. will just wait for them and try not to worry to much.

no where here has that but i do have a brand new bottle of poly-vi-sol(without iron) and plan to give them a couple drops of that when they get here

That will get them started. You can buy a bottle online. I put it in their water for the 1st 2 weeks to get them off to a strong start.
