WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? WHAT DID YOU JUST RECEIVE?

My cackle surprise shipped this morning, I got a shipping number but it hasn't been added in the system yet. Giddy doesn't even begin to cover it

It's a good idea to have some Poultry Nutri-Drench on hand
when the chicks arrive. It doesn't need to be digested and is
excellent for helping the chicks avoid travel stress and getting
them off to a strong start. Sold at feed stores and Tractor Supply.
TSC has the best price at 6.99 for 4 oz. which is plenty for your
chicks. I have used this company's products on my chickens
and collies for over a decade. This emergency nutritional
supplement does not need to be digested. Mainlines directly
into the bloodstream. Read the 1st post in this thread for full
explanation. I won't raise chicks without it.

I don't have any new chicks coming until late next month when I should have 10 Lavender Orps coming, but I should have 20 pheasant chicks ready for me on the 7th of April and 15 white midget turkeys coming in June. I just ordered an incubator so I will soon be looking for fertile eggs for Silver Laced Wyandotes and White Crown ducks.

I feel SO terrible !!! I have missed SO much!!! I will share an update on my ladies!!! We are 2.5 wks old. And just growing like CRAZY! They are feathering out like crazy, and just seem to have doubled in size over night! We had been laying a blanket on one end of the brooder to give them a place to feel they could hide away....BUT one of my polish gals figured out how to fly up and make it her roost. Then this morning I came in and Honey, one of our buff cochin was INSIDE the feeder. lol They sure are lively bunch!

This photo was taken like 2 days ago, so in my mind its OLD! They have changed so much even just since this picture! The Cochin's have feather feet. And my polish top hats look all nasty right now cause they are getting ready to feather out. lol

My escapee! LOL

Adorable!

lol! Thank you!! I was in bed napping when my husband and children came running into my bedroom squealing and laughing (including the HUSBAND) that the chick was trying to runaway!

It was so cute how excited everyone got over them. They sure are another part of the family. With so many they are a lot skiddish. So still working on making them more comfortable with handling. Treats, treats, treats, right? LOL It's funny how much they have already discovered when I come in saying "Hey ladies!" that it means food, ect so they go flying around the brooder. Who would have known chickens were SO fun.

We went to TSC this past weekend, they had chick day and had chickens, bunnies, and goats out in the parking lot here and my kids kept telling everyone we had chicks and they were cracking up at the Roo's crowing. Some really pretty birds were there. Our Southern States has it's chick day this Saturday and we plan to go, cause I won some sweepstakes and gotta collect my winnings, but I'm also on the look out for a baby bunny. It's never ending.... LOL
