We culled a couple of roos a month or so ago. Since I am left with only one and I can actually tell which one he is I now have an Australorp named Sydney. This weekend my wife pulled the last one out of the freezer to throw in the pressure cooker. Our 3 yo granddaughter looked at it (don't know how she made the connection) and asked, "Is that Sydney's Bub?" (Bub is southern for brother). When DW said yes, Dandie grabbed her face and said, "Oh no!" Had no problems at supper though.

We have Nugget, Gladys, Beanie, Legetha, Signey, Wilbur, Franklin, Charlotte, and Kathleen. Gladys and Beanie are named after my mother in law and her best friend. My Grandson came up with Wilbur, Franklin, Charlotte and Kathleen, guess they were reading Charlotte's Web at school.
