Sorry, the flowering shrub. The chooks have been "tip-pruning" it for me. They love the new growth on it.
This is what the new growth looks like.

I don't think they were chomping on it before, but I cut them back quite hard so lots of new growth which I suspect is all soft and yummy to them. It'll be interesting to see whether the lower branches recover/how they recover. Under the plumbago is also where I've found the egg stashes in the past. It obviously makes my chooks happy. :D

dried meal worms from mealwormstreats.com
super worms from the pet store (remember to "water" and feed them
thinly sliced and Julianne sandwich meat, ham or roast beef.

My girls like just about any fruit and vegetables, but I don't give them cruciferous vegetables. Someone told me that cabbage , Brussels sprouts, broccoli and etc. are not good for chickens. In the hot summer I give them mixed vegetables frozen into an ice block.

Brassicas have a mild toxin which really isn't a concern in moderation. My girls favorate veggies are broccoli & kale. They've never had an issue with it (I know many others feed Brassicas without issue).

Hi I give my girls and rooster a lettuce every day also the love watermelon, fresh herbs, Papaya, rice cooked strawberries etc as well grains. The eggs they lay are wonderful even the very small one I get occasionaly.
