what are your pet peeves?

This just makes me curious - Do average households really have dessert every day?

. . . Because wow, that's 1) a lot of sweets and 2) if you think that's a pet peeve, try living in a house where dessert is around once a month or so.

Mine is about this forum.
It's the " my chicks are here now what?" " what do I use for a brooder?" Basically people who ask questions they should have had the answer to "before" they got chicks.

Not forum related is when I say Hi' to someone maybe someone in the elevator, you make eye contact, you say Hi and they turn away like they didn't hear you. Or you speak to them and they ignore you. Do women think "Hi" is a pick up line? Or if your a clerk in customer service and you say "can I help you?" and they walk right by you like they didn't hear you or give you a dirty look. Doesn't anyone know how to say "No thank You?" Or on the other end clerks who when asked if they know where something is don't say "No I'm sorry, let me get someone who does" . Instead they lead you all over the store looking for it, just like you were doing.

Clueless people at the red box. Not only do they have no idea what movies are available so they have to go through the whole catalog, they have to have a MINIMUM of 4 additional family members stand around with them to argue about what to watch.

The pet peeve isn't exactly not getting dessert, it's that my brother can get away with it and even keep what he stole.

People in public restrooms (or any restroom) that don't wash their hands...

People in stores that sneeze into their hands instead of their arm and then reach out and grab something... especially produce
