I found a lady in NJ who has eggs. I have family near her so I can time it to get eggs when they are driving up to visit, and not have to worry about shipping!
My LF chickens don’t like snow either. The run is covered so as long as snow doesn’t blow in they will come out. If it does blow in, they wait for me to clear the ramp and perches off, and throw straw or leaves on top and then they will happily relax outside the coop. They are spoiled!
