I have no idea as to breed. I have seen two-week-old full sized chicks fly 2 feet vertical and 3 feet horizontal when the broody hen told them to fly up to her. jut watching them it was obvious they could have gone much further if they wanted to. Isn't it nice t have kids that mind so well?

But to your question, those look old enough to fly fairly well if they really want to. It's not a question of can they, it's a question of how much they want to. Don't be surprised f one decides t wants to.

Totally agree... I even have Brahmas that will take to the air for a few feet, if they think it will gain them an advantage over another chicken, when running for treats. Something to keep in mind is that as a species, chickens are ground birds and not likely to fly from place to place. Typically their preferred place is on the ground.

As for the breed... do they both have blue legs? If so, you have a gold and a silver laced seabrights.
