Does anyone know what is the best breed of bantam that lays well and can cope with heat? I am thinking of getting some more bantams later this year and I live in a very hot climate. Any recommendations?

Hatchery quality RIR's do great in the hot humid summers in Louisiana, but need care of their large combs if it drops below freezing. How are your winters there?
