dont want to spoil it for anyone , not something I would reread though probly.
I just finished The mamaoth hunters by jean auel or however you spell her name.
I liked the Eragon series so far , by the third book most of the action stuff was getting pretty badly redundant but Ill still read the next one.

I was reading the time traveler's wife, almost finished. Then I left it behind when we disembarked the cruise ship! Ugh! It is a library book too.

A classic, yet good book: To Kill a Mocking Bird. A great book...I read it in school as an assignment and read it again because it just...touched my heart in a way.

My mom LOVES the Twilight series, and she is about 45! A co-worker told her about them and let her borrow them. I stopped reading at New Moon, but she had them all finished in about 2 weeks.

For out-of the-box scifi lovers, heres a book you might like: The Raw Shark Texts by Steven Hall. Similar to The Matrix, very mind bending.

For the animal lovers: Animals In Translation by Temple Grandin. A great book, gives you insight on autism and a new understanding of the way animals behave. Very re-readable!

A short, 153 page book that you could read in one afternoon on the beach: Grayson, by Lynne Cox. A woman goes for a morning swim and meets a baby whale...a sweet, hardy book.

I just finished Koontz's last book The Darkest Evening of the Year. It was pretty good. That man does love his Golden Retrievers doesn't he?
I know I SHOULD get my Gaelic lessons book and cassette out next but I think I have one more really fast read-a horror book by Bryan Smith called Queen of Blood. THEN I'll get busy on the Gaelic lessons I promise.

The Clan of the Cave Bear books by Jean M. Auel are great. Highly suggested.....the Valley of the Horses was my favorite!
Really liked Phil Pullmans His Dark Materials trio too! Neat ideas in there!
To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my all time favs!

The Stand was the scariest book I ever read....for 2 weeks after I finished, and someone sneezed...I swear I would get anxiety and hold my breath! lol

My friend Tanna read lots of Koontz, and dropped me off a box full. Ive read two that were good and getting to the rest here and there. I like his writing.

I forgot I'm reading an old 5th year reader I picked up at a junk store. Sometimes I like simple things so I can go to sleep. If you haven't read "Two Bobbies" you have too. It's a true story and will bless your heart. My daughter gave it to me for Christmas. Don't read it in front of anyone though.
No offense Bluegrass, but King's, Pet cematary, is his scariest book.
