We feed our dogs Solid Gold. It is pretty equivalent to Taste of the Wild from what we've read, but it is sold for a little bit let at our Vet supply, so we saw no reason to switch. I think Taste of the Wild is no grain at all, whereas, Solid Gold is no corn, but contains barley, etc. Our dogs LOVE it!

We feed Nutrena Loyall puppy food to our crew. Its the "top shelf" of nutrena pet products. Klaus and Zelda (our GSD's) both have a beautiful shiny black coat... They're coats look wet they're so shiny!

Narnia is on blue bufflo lamb due to allergies
Buddy is on Nutram large puppy will see if the feed store has a cheaper but good product because I like getting all my animals feed at one time.

Marlowe used to be on Natural Balance, but since I'm broke I switched him over to Kirkland's dog food, which is very good quality for the price. When I'm bringing in more money I may switch him back.

If you want to see how your dog food ranks nutritionally look it up here ~ http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/index.php/cat/1

For
those feeding Taste of the Wild ~ it scores a whopping 6 out of possible 6 for nutrition except the Pacific Stream which is a 5 out of 6 (still good)

Many name brand foods, esp those you can buy at grocery or "big box" stores are very poor nutritionally and full of fillers. You can actually get better value by buying a quality food at a higher price per pound, but as you feed less you get more bang for your buck. The "grain-free" foods are also great for those overweight pets.
Grains = carbs

Also do not always expect your vet to know what foods are best, they get very little training in nutrition in vet school and many sell Hill's Science Diet which is not a great daily food although may be OK for some medical issues.
