I have a question for you Lorie, sorta OT a bit.
When I feed the boys chicken leg quarters or any larger pieces of meat, DH says I should cut Kane's pieces up for him. He's three and a half months old and doesn't seem to have any problem chowing down on the whole quarter. Is cutting it up really necessary for a GSD pup?

no it is not if he is eating quarters,my girls at that age where getting a whole chicken,plucked,thats it..I gave my 9 week old 2 lb morkie 1 week old chicks all week and she ate them up and was crazy looking for more..now some older dogs that arent used to having to actually work to eat will act like they cannot eat bones,because they dont know they can.
