My head tends to dump things out, thanks for the correction. After all, the only Jerseys I ever owned were SplashJersey Giants come in Black, White, Blue, & Splash for sure
Thank you for the linksJersey Giants come in Black, White, Blue, & Splash for sure. Black Jersey Giants have yellow skin with a dark wash over the top. He has to have something mixed in to give him white skin (Orpington for example). Mixes can be really tough to pinpoint with any certainty. I don't think extra spurs are as uncommon as you would expect though.
I found this thread about bantam EE's with extra spurs (clearly he's not a bantam EE, but it is pretty interesting):

I love his funky two-toned tail! Are you planning to keep him? I think it would be really interesting to see what he looks like after he molts.

It's like me forgetting about Partridge Rocks when they were the only variety of rocks I ever bredToo funny!
Thank you for the links
I am keeping him. I cannot wait to see what he looks like after some TLC. His feathers are in pretty rough shape.
Him and his two girls have lice I am treating it and hope that he's not anemic he does have some white on his wattles( I think that is what they are called) I did just get them a few days ago. Trying to get them to eat some good pellets and not cracked corn.
Any thoughts or suggestions on him are greatly appreciated he is very sweet and I don't want anyting to happen to him
I'm going to go out and see if I can get a better picturesDo you have a close up of the white? I see some on his ears, but I'm not seeing it on his wattles. It may just be from cross-breeding.
We all forget things..... I might forget to make dinner for the family but I don't forget to feed the chickens or to bring them snacks
