Hmm IMO(which doesnt mean much) the symmetry of this bird doesnt match the first. I understand its a roo but its body structure seems different... maybe its just the angle.
Here's a picture of her toes when she was smaller. I looked in my chicken pictures to see if I had a picture of the black and white one, but I don't have a good one of it standing up. I'll have to take one tomorrow and post it. I was curious on their pen setup, and I realized I could goggle earth them. They do look like they have fences they can climb. Maybe I should call them and ask who they have housed next to their LS, and then I'll know what they are mixed with, lol.
If your bold enough ask them if they rotate out roo's or hens(what measures they take to reduce/eliminate inbreeding). If its a product of inbreeding you definately dont want to hatch any of hers. Not to mention hidden issues. I am crossing my fingers she is just a mix good luck to you!
Most of my mutts have 5 toes to, I can tell the difference between my 5 toed mutts and your 5 toed hen (sorry, but I'm no breed expert
)
That extra toe doesn't look natural, I would post pics of my 5 toed mutts but I can't figure out how to post a picture without the image URL, I don't have an exterior site for the URL.
